In 2045, Texas and California have seceded from the United States and have become their own countries. They adopted the names, “New Texas”, and “The California.” Now, because of the decision to no longer be a part of the United States, travel between Texas and other states is difficult and requires an approved itinerary by the FBI. This process normally takes months and is commonly disapproved.

The Love Done Right Corporation owns and manages four event properties, two in New Texas and two in Colorado, specializing in creating and providing the perfect romantic experience. Love Done Right has invented and patented a process that expedites the travel approval process for couples wanting to get married. They call this travel approval process, “Broken Glass.” Now, someone is trying to covertly acquire the process details in order to duplicate the business model.
