Hi everyone! I am so glad you are here. I grew up in a small town in Wyoming. I moved to Southern California during my freshman year of High School. It is there I met my wife. Yes, we are high school sweethearts. We were in the band together and went to youth group together in our high school years. We started officially dating November 15th.
After high school I joined the military. We got married shortly there after and have enjoyed living around the world. We have been married for over 30 years and still love living life together. My wife is a constant source of inspiration for my poetry.

1. When did you start writing poetry?
I started writing when I was in 9th grade. My first poem I wrote was published in my church's newsletter. You can find that poem, "I Am" in my book, "Timeless Poetry."

2. What drew you in to start writing poetry?
I don't know that any one thing drew me into the world of poetry. I think maybe it was just meant to be. I started writing and I loved it.
3. Who are your favorite poets?
That is so hard to answer. It kind of depends on my mood. I love Shakespeare, Wilde, Poe, and Angelou. But I find many indie published authors to be so good too. It is important to read different authors and different genres as well.
4. Speaking of that, what other genre do you read?
I'm not sure that I read particular genres. I like to read fiction. My two favorite authors are Michael Crichton and Robin Cook most. I like the medical thriller, as long as it's not too scary. My favorite Michael Crichton books are Jurassic Park, Prey, and Sphere.
5. Of what book of yours are you the most proud?
I think right now, "Love Poetry From My Heart" is my favorite. Although my play, "The Castle Wall" is really good too. The 4S Project is amazing. It's a 7-book series that is pretty cool.
6. How many more books are you going to publish?
I have at least one more romance poetry book coming. But I'd be willing to bet there will be more than that in the future. I also have "The Castle Wall' book 2 coming out. I plan on it being a trilogy, and then I have some back stories in my mind. I also have 2 more planned in the Broken Glass series. And, new news, I have a romantic drama called "The Magic Table" coming out. So I guess the short answer would be, I have 3 coming out soon and at least 4 (or more) planned.
7. Do you have a newsletter? If so, how can I subscribe?
I do have a newsletter planned, about twice a month, maybes a few times more, but I haven't started it yet. I plan to have a few updates and a poem or two in the newsletter. I do not have a "subscribe" button per se. I might work on that though.

9. Do you answer every email you get?
Yes, I sure do. Even if it just says subscribe, I answer it. I like to stay connected to the readers and I feel like a personal email is so much better than just a robotic response to a "Subscribe" button.
10. Are you writing a blog?
Yes, I plan to do a blog once a week or so. It will be on my Blog page. It will be a bit different than the email I send out. So check back often to get the Blogs and see what's new. It isn't started yet, so I don't have the link up. But look for it soon(ish).
